Alpine hemp 360°

GROWN is partner in the alpine hemp 360° network.

The network project, funded by ARGE ALP and based at the Standortagentur Tirol (2021-2024), promotes innovations in the cultivation and utilization of hemp plants, their fibres and ingredients. With a view to the entire life cycle of products, value chains are being redesigned in line with the circular economy in order to promote sustainable growth for the region.

The opportunities lie in particular in an additional source of income for agriculture, new business models for SMEs and a simultaneous reduction in CO2 emissions.

GROWN´s task within the project is, to develop project-specific technological and scientific issues connectet to the alpine hemp 360° topics.
